Moles are small mammals that can be very destructive to your yard or garden.
They are 5-8 inches long and have very soft velvety fur. If you see raised tunnels
in your yard, you have moles. Other animals such as armadillos, chipmunks,
pocket gophers and tree squirrels dig in the yard, but none make these long
winding tunnels the way that moles do.
Non Chemical Control
- A tightly woven fence, buried at least two feet in the ground, can be used
to exclude moles from a small area.
- Mole traps work if placed in the moles active runways. Move the mole
trap every 3 days if no moles are caught.
- Siamese cats and rat terrier dogs are great mole catchers.
Mole Control
Moles eat grubs and other soil insects. By killing these soil insects with Talstar, you deprive them of their food source and they will
eventually move away.
