Chipmunks
The Small Live Live Animal Trap is the best way to catch chipmunks. Sunflower seeds or Trappers' Lure are excellent baits. Chipmunks are picky about what they eat and well seldom take a prepared rodent poison.
Revenge Rodent Gasser can also be used to gas chipmunks, moles, gophers and other rodents.
Dogs
Ropel granules can be used to keep dogs and cats from urinating or defecating in a certain area. Foul odor repels them but does not harm them.
Daw-Gon is an enzyme that will remove dog or cat urine completely from a carpet or piece of furniture.
Safeguard live traps come in the correct size to capture small or large dogs.
Frogs
Over the years you hear all kinds of complaints about every kind of animal, including frogs. People usually complain about all the noise that tree frogs make. I sure don't recommend killing these frogs but you can move them a few feet away from the house by using these tips.
Cut all the bushes and overhanging limbs away from the house.
Keep as many outside lights as possible off. The lights draw in the frog's food (bugs).
Spray a weak solution of Permethrin on the shrubbery and nearby trees. This kills the small insects and will repel (not kill) the frogs.
Scabies
This is a miserable disease that is caused by the scabies mite crawling underneath your skin and laying eggs which causes extreme itching. The scabies mite under your skin should be treated by your physician. You should clean and wash everything in the house to destroy wandering mites. In addition to this use Precor 2000, which is a hand held fogging aerosol. This will provide a quick knock down of this and other pests.
Termites
In most cases involving termites we recommend calling a professional exterminator. This is especially true if you have dampwood, drywood or formosan termites in your home.
If you have subterranean termites, there are times you may wish to do the treatment yourself. See our termite article for further information on this possibility.
If you have drywood termites in a piece of furniture, then these can be treated with Boracare or Jecta Gel boracide.
