We built a small cabin (wood) and have a rock ring fire pit by a pond. Over the last few months we have noticed that the scorpians have greatly increased in number. We've all been bitten. Any way to rid this area of these pests? Please don't suggest chickens - there are too many coyotes to make this feasible. We're not opposed to a pesticide provided it does't contaminate the pond water. Interestingly, we normally don't have many scorpians here in NE Oklahoma unless it is extremely hot and dry. This is not the case currently, as we've had above average rainfall and it is fairly cool. These things are ruining our enjoyment of the cabin and surrounding area as they are EVERYWHERE. Thanks for your help.
