Being invaded by crickets!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Texas and Im being invaded by crickets. At least 10 a day get into my apt somehow. I've put boric acid everywhere, inside and out, but they are still coming in, ive taped up cracks too just to try to keep them out. I really am afraid of bugs and I dont know how much more I can take. Does anyone know how to get rid of them, keep them out, or have any suggestions? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
