Springtails are associated with humidity. If you have a sprinkler system, it should only turn on in the early morning hours.

Be sure you actually have springtails. Can you make them hop? They have elongated bodies, 6 legs and antennae. Length is usually 1-3 mm.

Springtails are common in the environment. Any visitors to your home would probably have their own springtails if conditions where they live are favorable.
