: My kids found this rather wierd looking insect. It looks like a cross between a wasp and a mosquito. It has a really long stinger about 2 1/2 inches long. It has an orangish body with black and white stripes, see through wings with black marks, and legs like a grass hopper or whasp. Any tips???? Please help us find out what it is we think one of the kids might of gotten bit.
