I live in Sydney - no geckos here - but everytime i go in search of warmer weather (queensland, cook islands..) they show up. I have a serious gek phobia, so i've tried everything.

Supermarket insect repellents don't work (except to keep their food supply out). Air-conditioning seems to help. I usually get my boyfriend to turf them out, then close all windows and turn the air-con on full blast. My theory is, the geckos will just go next door...
