I love the "billion leg" description as it is exactly how I felt the first time I saw them. In fact, I named them "billipedes" and only recently learned that they are properly known as "house centipedes".

I too have recently moved into a basement suite and although the apartment is clean, bright and not damp - at least for me - it seems to be a breeding ground for these creatures.

I don't like to use insecticides in the house, but I'm getting tired of running after them with lysol or a natural citrus spray (which works very well) to kill them. I need something I can put someplace to, at least, reduce the population. It's getting uncomfortable sharing this space with them.

Any suggestions would be welcome
