Centipeds!!!

i just moved in this house and in the summer there are centipeds clinging to the outside stocco of my house early in the mourning so i try to kill them! But once in a while i see one crawling on my wall,in my house i hate these creepy crawlers, how do i rid of them i do not see them when it gets colder out! I seen two diffrent types one that is brown with shorter legs and one that has longer legs i hate them both! Can they bite our sting! What kind of chemical will kill them! Thanks G.L Minn
