: : What's the ratio to make this 'magic' vinegar spay - %vinegar + %salt + %water?

: :
: : : : : : : : : : : : : Something has invaded our house. We live in Florida and recently have had a lot of rain (29
: : : : : : : : : : : : : days of it) two week ago something began biting my husband and then me. You can't see them,
: : : : : : : : : : : : : they are in our bed, in our clothes, in the carpets etc. We tried bug bombing, and washing
: : : : : : : : : : : : : the dogs and spraying the cats. They
: : : : : : : : are not FLEAS! We know fleas. They actually got worse
: : : : : : : : : : : : : after we bug bombed. (Twice) We now have a pest control company spraying our house but these
: : : : : : : : : : : : : things are crawling on us all of the time. Biting and crawling. We went to my husband dermatologists,
: : : : : : : : : : : : : and all he did was give us some hydrocortisone cream. I asked him for some insect ointment
: : : : : : : : : : : : : but he said well they are not burrowing into your sking so he would not prescribe it. No they
: : : : : : : : : : : : : are just crawling all over us. We wash our clothes and sheets and the next day we have to do it again.
: : : : : : : : : : : : : Someone help. I don't know how much more of this I can take. If the spraying works for the
: : : : : : : : : : : : : house what can I get a doctor to prescribe for me!!!!

: : : : : : : : : : : : Hi, my heart goes out to you, my family has been battling this for a year now. We also live in Florida, but i have talked to a lady with the same problem and she lives in Chicago. I wash my bedding everyday and change clothes two to three times a day, I have been in tears many days including today. I have had two diff pest control companies out, they both said that we had bird mites, we have sprayed, fogged, fumigated, I have spent much money and to no avail. I even got my doc to give me a script for body mites but of course that did not help because they dont live on humans, they inhabit the furniture, carpet, and clothes. My oldest daughter had her carpet removed it helped a little. Permetrin is the best stuff to spray, ant or roach spray, but it has not fixed my problem, I hope we find a way to rid ourselves of this. Good luck

: : : : : : : : : : : Hi, I also live in Florida and have these mites. My wrists look terrible from scratching. It happens only at night - I think they are in the pillows, Its getting expesive buying new pillows....anyone find something that works??

: : : : : : : : out.

: : : : : : : : : So you didnt order anything on this website?? THEse bites are killing me!

: : : : : : : :
: : : : : : : : p

: : : : : We have started spraying a mixture of vinger, salt and water all around the house. it seems to be working. We also removed all our hibicus plants that were near the house (we found the specks on there also) I do not sleep at our house but my husband has not been bitten in 5 days. I clean everything everyday and spray the mixture. They seem to only be in our living room now and front bedroom. I have tried to get an entomologist to help but everything I sent him he says is nothing. He is now questioning our mental heatlh. Thanks a lot. anyway try the mixture. it will help.

: : : : I feel for you
: : : : It is inyresting that you say that about the plant we akso have it but I thought it had white fly I am cutting it down in the morning. My problem has not been solved either, Are any of you feeling sick.? My dog died kast week and I have been taking her in because I swore there was something wrong,I have had terriable joint pains,I also have now been diagnosted with somthing called dermodex. But the doctor thinks its secondary to some fungal infection, I spent a fortune on Air tests and we did come up with 2 toxic mold spores. But it dosent help find the problem, I think it comes from the dirt.Try a Air purifier it does help a little. good luck to all of us nuts

: : : Hey listen. We cut down everything around the house and I sprayed the yard with the vineger mixture. These things are almost gone. No more bitting, just occasional little nips. I still have no idea what these things are but I am acutally feeling a little more positive. I don't feel sick, just really really tired. My cat died while this was going on, but he had eaten grass which had so much pesticide on it it even killed him a week and a half after the bug company sprayed. that is why we are not using any more pesticides. If I feel anything walking on me or biting I spray myself with the vineger mixture. Not too much just a little mist of it. works great. I know that the Off spray was making me ill. and I do have really bad dry skin from all of this. I also know I have a lot more spots (looks like freckles) that I did not have before this began. I hope the plant thing works for you as well.

: Sorry I did not answer sooner, we have been trying to take back the rest of our home from these damn things. got them cornered in the spare bedroom. ha ha I take an ordinary spray bottle like a windex bottle half vinager and half water and then I add about 4 tablespoons of salt. I have adjusted the salt amount based on whether it was irritating my already very dry skin. as of today I only feel occasional little nips. nothing like the terrible bites we had a month ago. I don't know if it was a combo of the spraying and everything else we did or if these things are finally dying. Hey nothing can live forever and if they are mites. they WILL die. eventually. Hope this helps all of you.

thanks for the recipe, but what surfaces do you use it on? I would be afraid to use it on anything more than cloth, or porcelin, or counters, as the combo, could be abrasive...right?
