duck lice

Help, I was just out for a few days at the Shuswap Lake in British Columbia, Canada. The water was great and I enjoyed it but the last day there I began developing raised bumps on my skin, itchy as can be and looking like a large mosquito bite but almost transparent as if a blister but they do not break and release any liquid. I have heard now about duck lice that might be in the lake. Anyone have any info about this, how long they will last and how to relieve the itch. Can the lice still be on me after a few days. I seem to be getting a few more each day????
