Biting mites

Something has invaded our house. We live in Florida and recently have had a lot of rain (29
days of it) two week ago something began biting my husband and then me. You can't see them,
they are in our bed, in our clothes, in the carpets etc. We tried bug bombing, and washing
the dogs and spraying the cats. They are not FLEAS! We know fleas. They actually got worse
after we bug bombed. (Twice) We now have a pest control company spraying our house but these
things are crawling on us all of the time. Biting and crawling. We went to my husband dermatologists,
and all he did was give us some hydrocortisone cream. I asked him for some insect ointment
but he said well they are not burrowing into your sking so he would not prescribe it. No they
are just crawling all over us. We wash our clothes and sheets and the next day we have to do it again.
Someone help. I don't know how much more of this I can take. If the spraying works for the
house what can I get a doctor to prescribe for me!!!!
