: I have searched and searched for methods to control the frog and toad overpopulation in my backyard, esp. my pool. They get in there and breed and won't go away due to a recent and persistent downpoor of rain. No stores carry any type of toad repellant or anything... I've checked pool supply stores, home & garden stores, and online, all to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions or advice, please let me know! These things are annoying (don't particularly want to kill them, just keep them away... but hey whatever works...) There is no toad repellent anywhere. You can spray the yard with Permethrin 10 and try to kill as many insects as you can. If you decrease their food supply, they may go somewhere else.
