: Hello All, : I have had mole trouble before and thought that is what got the Tulips. But I just saw where some thing has eaten our Easter Lillies. One plant I just found was eaten from under ground and the varment was so hungry it pulled the steam down also and eat on it. I had seen some of the botom leaves eaten off others and thought of rabbits. But this takes the cake. I looked up moles and they eat insects. So what is eating the plants and how do I get rid of it. I think it is after my Gladiolus too. I have listed a link to pictures that I have just taken. http://www.avsia.com/rhh/garden.html : Thank You, : Roger Hi Roger. I have a similar problem. I was told I had moles, but voles are similar. I'm still unclear about which eats grubs and which eats bulbs. I think I have grubs as well, so who knows what's eating what. I had a tree cut down last year and I was told the grubs were eating the tree. The cycle of life, I guess. I live on a woodsy lot, so I've got everything from spiders to groundhogs. Now I have carpenter bees. There's no getting ahead of these beasts--if it's not one thing, it's another. And don't get me started on the kids!!
