: During the summer months we had an infestation of what I thought was drosophila (fruit flys). Next I have had black, wide winged. easy to catch, "flylike" insects. Originally I thought they were some type of fly, but they are not at all attracted to "pest strips". They do not seem to go to food. They side all over the walls. When I kill them, they leave a black mark on the wall. They are soft, stubby, wide varigated winged insects. Driving me nuts. Can't find where they're coming from. Could be some sort of filth fly like a drain fly. They live off of the slime that accumulates in the side walls of the drains. They could also be breeding in water or a busted pipe. Look carefully. We have Purge 3 you can spray in the air and also have Drain Gel if they are Drain Flys. To order click on www.e-bug.net or call 1-800-226-8370. Sincerely, phyllis
