bed bugs?

At night for the past month or so my husband and I are waking up every couple of nights with large,red, swollen bites. They are very itchy and seem to be on legs, chest and neck. Can't see anything and they aren't leaving any blood behind on sheets. They are atleast nickel size. Please help!!
