black pepper mites and some white small 'things'

I think we have black pepper mites ..and..their cousin,some very very white little things...they are everywhere and biting me...something is biting me...my question is why don't these things move? I put a shirt on today...checked it..there were NO black spects on it then but while sitting in the car I looked down and there they were...the little black flecks...and those 'white' things..some balled shaped and others about as long as a lower case 'i'...I need help fast..I have three physically handicapped people living here so I am the only able bodied person who can do anything...should I seek professtional advice or what? with the holidays...pest control people are no where to be found...what if I take some of these critters to the Emergency Room...could they identify them? It is impossible for me to deal with all the clothes and furniture here alone...
