what kind of bug is this?

Hello,

I would like to know what kind of bug this is. I have posted a picture at:

They are hundreds of them, & they are very small & jump when you try to kill them. The baby ones are the size of a grain of salt. The larger ones are 1mm to 2mm in size. They seem to be in dusty places, like corners, & under the toy box. I don't think they are cockroaches, because they are so small, & I have only found about 3 cockroaches in 6 months, & I have not found any of these bugs in the kitchen. We are in southern California. Thank you!
