New Apartment= FLEAS?

I've just moved to an apartment along with 2 male friends. I am a young female. As soon as we moved in I began getting flea bites non-stop, while my friends haven't been effected at all. One of them said they saw a flea on them, but didn't get bitten. I am going crazy from the itch and I don't know what to do. Why am I the only one getting bitten?
