: Usually get bit on arms or torso, never legs, 3-4 bites about once a week. It doesn't seem to feed everyday. Lately have been loading up on mosquito repellant before bed - that has helped, but sometimes get bit on hands, ears, etc that I don't cover. The only things that I found to help with itching are ice and a steroid cream that my dermatologist injects directly in hive.

Join the yahoo group called birdmitesorg. There you will find a group of people who are suffering from mites. There are different kinds of mites, like scabies mites, sarcoptic mange mites, bird mites, rodent mites.

Also, what will help you at night, is to purchase a twin sized air mattress. You can clean it each night in the shower and use a different light cover each night. Wash your covers in scalding hot water.

Also, the Topix Scabies forum is very helpful and has tons of things you can do to rid yourself of scabies mites, etc.
