: Usually get bit on arms or torso, never legs, 3-4 bites about once a week. It doesn't seem to feed everyday. Lately have been loading up on mosquito repellant before bed - that has helped, but sometimes get bit on hands, ears, etc that I don't cover. The only things that I found to help with itching are ice and a steroid cream that my dermatologist injects directly in hive.

I am sorry you are having this problem. Have you steam cleaned your carpet? If you haven't already, you could try benadryl for the itching. It does sound like bed bugs or possibly you are allergic to your laundry detergeant? You could try dye-free just to see if it helps and no fabric softner, or dye-free as well. If you contact an exterminator, be sure they spray in the cracks between the wall and the floor, all the carpet and floors and vacuum as frequently as possible. I hope this helps.
