Flying triangular house bug

: Every summer I find these annoying flying insects in the house. Not only are they annoying, but I have a terrible bug phobia.They are triangular in shape and black. They fly but seem to perch themselves high on the walls. Once they are smooshed they leave a hard to clean stain on the wall. I have also seem them in the cabinet where my grandma keeps her parrot's food. I also see some dead ones by windows. Pleas me help. It's 1:35 a.m. and won't go to bed because I saw one in the dark in my room and can't find it to kill it.
