Moving out of roach infested apartment

I'm moving out of (in my opinion) a severely roach infested apartment into another that I can only hope and pray does not have the same problem. I'm planning on leaving most everything behind for fear of bringing them with me. However, I'm particularly concerned about items that are too expensive to replace, mainly electronics such as our television, dvd player, playstation and computers. Is there anyway these items can be saved? Do I need to worry about them being in baby and children's toys such as bouncers, swings and jumpers? What about small electronic childrens toys like musical tables? Thank you in advance for any advice or help regarding this issue.
