Thief Ants not eating bait

I've tried peanut butter, corn syrup, butter, lard, mixed cooking oils, mixed peanut butter, corn syrup, and canola oil. None of these are baited as I'm just trying to find something they like to begin with. Any suggestions for something else to try for thief/grease ants?
