: Dear E-bug, : My Mom's house has been plagued with lady bugs by the hundreds each fall and winter. They seem to come out of the wood work and we find them everywhere in the house. Could they be nesting in the walls? Is there a way to exterminate them? Please help, my mom is making me nuts about these ladybugs! The bugs are starting to show up again in the past few days. : Thanks for your time, : Stew Lampe I know just what you are talking about. I have spent the whole day sucking them up in the vacume cleaner. Its gross. I would pay BIG $$$$$$ for some DDT right now. I bought some malathion concentrate and put it in a spray bottle that hooks to the hose and blasted away. Killed them buggers right away, but tomorrow is another day. I dont care how beneficial these bugs are. I WANT THEM DEAD!!!!!!!! I had to paint the whole house last year after December as they left marks all over the house. A long time ago when the japanees bettle went blastic the county sprayed over head and got rid of most of them. I wish they would do that again. OH, they seem to be bitting this year and I dont remember that happening last year. Please let me know if you find a "CURE" for your lady bug problem that I might try. Thanks
