well the upholstery in your case has an under side similar to that of carpeting
and could be a breeding ground for these bugs meaning the under side could be holding thousands of eggs from these bugs
now the sad part is your guitar my also have eggs in it from the bugs
note any flooring that is over the original concrete/cement floor could also be a breeding ground
and any type of paneling / acustic coverings covering over the original concert walls will do the same
note that it is the tinny space between the covering and the object bing covered (i.e case wall or floor) NOTEING ALL OF THAT THE BUGS COULD SPREAD TO THE REST OF YOUR HOUSE/BULIDING
however you said they were starting to eate your guitar case
which makes me think you do not have a metal/plastic hard case
these means they could be the same bugs that live/infest on house plants ect
note could be some "scifi like" "sicence today like" type of bugs IE. TERMITES THAT EAT METAL

on a new age/occult note understand your house could be haunted or possessed by ghost/s or demon/s which could be directly related to the infestation
(please understand your house could still be haunted or possessed and have no connection to the bugs)
A GOOD INDICATER IS IF THE BUGS COME BACK AFTER DOING EVERY THING YOU CAN AND/ OR SEEM TO ATTACK YOU
MORE OFTEN THE FOLLOWING PHRASE OR ALONG THE SAME LINES CAN BE AN INDICATOR YOU TRIED EVERY THING ELESE
DAM THESE BUGS MUST BE THE DEVIL OR SOMETHING
