Last year during the Fall months we were invaded for the first time by thousands of obnoxious stink bugs. They entered our home through every little crack and crevise. Our exterminator says there is no treatment for them. What's strange is that some people nearby don't have a problem. They seem to be attracted to white structures, which we have.
My recourse was to vacuum them into a wet vac partially filled with liquid sevin. I collected several thousand, some outside, some inside. I've become an expert at finding their hiding places.
After they emerged in early summer I caulked every little crack and crevis in the exterior of the house.
I'll see if this has helped come this Fall.
