I had similar reaction to what I call mites while taking care of my Dad. I tried bleach and sprays also. Lost many nights sleep. I finally connected the attacks to dogs and cats. I even get them off people who have contact with dogs or cats. Bathing and removal of clothing ( I wash the clothes or put them in the dryer.)as soon as possible when I get home or I spread the mites (?) to my furniture and then get reattacked over and over. I have had to separate myself from people although I hate to... because of the misery of the attacks..... Even people in the nursing home I visited has them because they had dogs that came inside for the patients to pet. I tried to use repellants on my skin they help but are not a sure thing.

: : I am also at the breaking point with bird or some type of mite.I have been dealing with it for 9 months with no relief and barely any help.I have bombed numerous times and have done tons of laundry with ammonia and bleach. Has anyone come up with answers for this yet? I have had to isolate myself from people and can't go to work.All the exterminators I call tell me they can't help me and I have been exposed to so many chemicals and bombs that I can't take anymore. I have now come down with a fever and very sick and can't get better because of lack of sleep, these things have ruined my life and I don't know where to turn. I hope people can come up with answers soon.
