I don't know, but I hope someone can help! My boyfriend and I have been having the same problem since we moved into a new apartment 6 months ago. We've never actually seen a bug after countless hours of searching mattress and furniture seams, however, we are constantly finding ourselves scratching little bites all over our bodies. I've tried using home foggers but that hasn't seemed to kill them off! Help! : I am about to lose my mind. Everyday I go to work, and the feast begins. I cannot see anything, but they bite me all day long...they are biting my arms, my legs, my neck, and they are even in my hair. We have tried an exterminator, an ozone treatment, and I've even tried spraying myself and the carpet under my desk with OFF. When I leave work, they come with me, and for hours after, I am feeling them...until I take a shower. I have searched the internet, and cannot seem to get a clear picture of what it is...No-See-Ums, Sand Flies, Mites, WHAT??? There are no animals at my place of work, but we do clean carpets...recently many that were covered with moths, including their larva..could this be why?....that is when it started. I don't have any visible bites or welts or rash from this, they just drive me NUTS...HELP, HELP, HELP. There is one other person getting bit, (works very near me), so it's not in my head.
