People that go camping can be exposed to `chiggers`, tiny blood-feeding insects. After they bite, they leave behind a calcified feeding tube that is the cause of the itch. These will be imbedded in your skin for a while but eventually will dissipate. You can be bitten by chiggers on farms or even in an open field. : If it's scabies I would see the doctor and get the cream. Make sure your entire family uses it. I have also started taking pictures of my body to keep track of the marks/bites, whatever they are. It's really hard to tell if they're getting better when you're obsessively looking at them non-stop. I would really like to rule out bedbugs in my situation, but I'm not sure how.
: : Our family is having the same issue although we did not go camping please help us understand how to fight this... my money is on scabies, everything i have searched for seems to lead to scabies.
