Well I now fight the bed bug war...

Hi!

Well yesterday we found that the friend we were helping out nicely brought bed bugs into our apartment. Lucky for us it has only been like 2 weeks and we were just starting to be bit.
Seeing as I live in Toronto the city of overkill if you have money I have paid for aggressive, over extermination . The work is apparently guaranteed for 6 months and after a week if we see bugs he comes in and does it again for free and that goes on until we have 6 bug free months.
Anyhow I DO actually have a question, do blow dryers generate enough heat to kill the eggs? There are a couple of plush/fabric mementos that can't go in the dryer or waser we want to try and keep. (They are currently sealed in plastic bags while we watch to see if they end up crawling or not.)
Also I would like to know cause that way I will also use it on my bed.

For everyone who has this problem remember 2 things. When in doubt, toss it out. (Yes I know that gets expensive but one day you will be able to get nice things again and be bug free.)
The second, seeing as violence can not solve this problem you must use the back up solution 'over the top, fanatical, completely off its *opps cant say that word* aggression and hatred'.
