Hello,

I am a herpetologist that is studying the flowerpot blind snake. I am interested in hearing from anyone in California or Arizona that thinks they have seen some as it has not been officially documented yet from those two states. They are inoffensive, harmless, and very beneficial snakes as they eat ants and termites! So do not kill them if you find them. We need a live or preserved specimen to verify their existence in CA or AZ. Contact me if you find any (or have seen some). Thanks, Dr. Van
