Are Gnat bites dangerous to humans?

This is of a mature question concerning Gnats, im in long island NY nowhere near water. Im a nudist, was working in the yard stopped to relieve myself by a bush as i was doing my business bunch of gnats and i verified they were gnats started swarming the area.
Ive read online about gnat bites but not sure if i was bit somewhere i shouldnt have been bit but do i need to worry or rush to my dr? im scared after reading stuff online
