Hello, Your very much not alone. I live in Ohio. My family members are dealing with pretty much the same deal for 4 months now and all of them are about at wits end. It started with my grandfather then spread to my grandmother then my mother. Today they were both taken by ambulance to the hospital. The are bitten from the top of their head to the bottoms of their feet. They had pest control people spray their home 4 times! They've used enzymes, permithrin, acticin, tea tree oil, bleach, vinegar, lindain, sulfur, covered everything in plastic, washes everything I mean everything daily. My mother isn't bit nowhere near what my grandparents are, but she keeps her vents to her room and bathroom shut off so its cold in her rooms. Some people have found relief by burning tea light candles on top of saucers 2 hours before going to bed. its something they can't see but they draw blood and instant pain. It looks like a rash to mosquito bites. They are drawn to heat I know. I've been in the home taken care of them whatever they are they do not like me or my father. We've both been there the whole time. They do have their pick of who the like to eat. Pets are a no no, they spread them, they don't bite the dog but they travel on the animal. I do recomment bathing with tea tree oil in the water. My mother put clear nail polish or chigger meds that seal a bite on and hers burned for a sec and no more itching. I'm not sure if they burrow in the skin like scabies or not. I do know its spread from my grandfather to grandmother to mom to cousin to her child to her boyfriend, and my cousins class mates in college 2 of them now have this, there was no contact with her classmates who sit 3 ft away and still they have them. They discribe the being as crawling in their hair, ears, and nose first. The house call dr who treats my grandparents got them, the crawling woke him in the middle of the night his wife jumped up threw out the bedding and pillows and he got a shower and has been fine since. The man who does maintence on their home was there in Nov and fixed registers and was down in the floor, wont come back or return calls I'd say he's got them too. Its seriously contagious! They've seen dermatologists they say its not scabies and gives them scabies cream and sends them home. My mother seen her doctor showed her the bites and she calls her delusioinal parasitosis. Saying your crazy, well i've seen it, I've seen my mother once in the last 2 months, she was here in my home 2 months ago never left my kitchen, i saw the marks pop up on her, and bleed. I rode with her on a 3 hr car trip sitting in her drivers seat still I got nothing. I've spent over 100 hours reading and researching online because i'm affraid i'll get a call she's finally downed a bottle of pills. I know doctors aren't taught about parasites and things of this nature in school and thats why you get the "yourcrazy" reaction. I've lost all trust in any doctor. I know one thing you have to treat the inside and outside of your body. Ivermectin is a wormer and kills anything inside and out. Its hard for people to afford many options. Carpets are a sespool of nasty things, vinyl floors and wood floors in rooms you'll notice very few if any bites. They also infest your vehicle. I do know that it came from a doctors office as my grandparent aren't well enough to go anywhere so only place they went was cumadine clinic and my grandfather sat on the chair there for an hour waiting on his appointment after that it all started. So i asked my doctor what they treated their office with and my doctor is scared of me i intemidate her so she complies with what i asked. She brougth me a can of it i came home checked it out online it was a germacide, not anything that would kill any type of mite bugs ect. So if i have to go to a doctors office i stand till they take be back and I stand in the room. I carry hand sanitizer with me at all times. I picked up giardia from a fast food drink, and ended up in the hospital. I no longer will touch a fast food drink or food of any kind. I know thats where i got it because i cook everyday but that day i had lunch I also only eat turkey or chicken throughly cooked and i boil any water i drink. So theres so many bad bugs of all sorts that you have to turn into a fruit cake to protect your self. I was studing the effects of sulfur, I'm a learning junkie i read ALOT, because my face was constantly breaking out, and i had bought 1 pound of MSM (sulfur pure) add 3 T's to shampoos and lotions because of its effects on your skin. I also take 1 t of MSM in my ice tea everyday it cleanses your intestines. I was doing that when these bugs popped up maybe taht prevented me from being bitten. You can get MSM by pound on ebay for 12.90. I know essential oils keep you from getting bitten its worked for a few weeks for my mother like neem oil, tea tree oil, peanut oil, baby oil clogs the pores and your skin can't breathe. I've read about people putting vaseline on the legs of their bed and never let the sheets touch the floor. Also sevins dust on the carpet in on matresses or covering in plastic. Some say they had success with borox laundry detergent, my family didn't. They currently have these bait traps the pest people put out allover their house to try and catch some to identify them. My family has called CDC, OSU, governors office ect. I'm as lost as the tons of people suffering with this but I recommend sulfur or essential oils. I hope something in here can help you. Raven
