Hi All
I can not believe that i have found others who are going through the same thing as i am. I am also finding the same description of debris in bed every night, (despite changing the sheets nightly, showering and putting on clean clothes) accompanied by itching , pinching and biting. This has been going on for an entire year! It’s so crazy. I have had a few different exterminators come out and it has done nothing. Putting on clean sheets, clothes and vacuuming does help, but has not eliminated the problem. And it is certainly not a log-term solution. I also have enclosed the mattress in a vinyl zippered cover. Though i will also find these crunchy things on my clothing, furniture and carpeting sometimes, too. But the question Michael raises about where this “debris” is something i just can’t get out of my head. i am baffled by it on a daily basis. Where are the crawling bugs?! At first i thought it was the skins that beg bugs discard, but eventually realized that that’s not it. I have actually sent samples to the University of California (Davis has an entomology testing site that charges $160 to “look” at samples) to be tested and they said they didn’t know what it was!! after that i felt like no one would believe my story. I am of very sound mind (well, except for the bugs) and do not have delusional parisitosis. Also, my husband is not burdened by this, though he fully believes me and sees that this debris must be something. Many of the others on this site are not finding anything at all. But to tell you the truth, i wasn’t at first either. They are small, and the bed is sort of sandy when you feel it. As soon at the lights go out is when the “bugs” come out. Also, i feel something in my ears and hair. I know this sounds crazy, and i never mentioned this until i read others had the same experience.

i have been reading so much about Morgellons Disease, which has made me curious. One thing i should note is this that we have a dog, but I don’t believe that the two are related to my personal story. I did some reading about and it just doesn’t fit. these creatures come out at night and in the dark mostly. I’m a little confused about those who are finding things and those who aren't. Is there a debris with this and can you see the worms? Where are the parasites coming from? Some have said that they need to shower and wash clothes and bedding in bleach, which helps. So if the this is a worm, wouldn’t it need to survive on or in a body, not in fibers? Another questions for anyone who has the answer: can these parasitism survive on humans after they have been eliminated in the animal they were contracted from?

As for Pandora Bug, I don’t doubt that this is real. But many of those symptoms are very specific, such as acne. I —and i think others— am not effected specifically around the face and hair, but all over.

The more i read, the more it seems that many of these symptoms seem consistent with Rodent Mites. Also, for anyone who has the answer, are there some chemicals that work better with Rodent mites than others ....i want to explore my options.

One last note: For those who move, (moving is not an option for me) many people will take their belongings to an on-site fumigation place. Many people who move into nursing homes are required to do this. I believe the Western Fumigation does this, though i don’t know if they are everywhere in the country. You can look up Fumigation in the phone book.

Thanks for all the valuable information. I will keep you updated with any new information i might obtain.
