On another board I'm on, people sprinkle it into the carpets and then vaccumm.. but they don't have mite problems.

: Tomorrow I'm trying Neem Oil for me and the dog. I posted on some rodent boards asking about foggers so if I come up with anything I'll post back on here. :)

Thanks for responding J. Dioatomaceous earth was recommended to me by an exterminator I interviewed and he suggested Boric acid as well for the mites. I'm pretty sure rodent mites are my problem because I heard rodents in the wall and found evidence of their getting in around the plumbing under the sink. The exterminator the landlady hired has sealed up their entry points so I'm hoping that will help but the Precor/Prelude mixture they used last wekk only seemed to help for a short while so they came back yesterday and used pyrethrins. Hasn't seemed to help so far.

I did try the boric acid around the baseboards (it's supposed to dry them out) and diatomaceous earth on the wood floors and that helped as much as anything has though it is superfine and gets everywhere.

Ran across another web site that recommended putting basil in the bed, taking B1, using hemp body oil and Neem body lotion. Haven't tried it yet but I'll try just about anything at this point.

Please do let us know if you learn anything else from the other web site. My beagle doesn't seem to be suffering terribly but if she's feeling anything like I am, she's annoyingly uncomfortable.

Philip
