Millipedes and Earwigs

I desperately need help! I have been fighting an infestation of millipedes from March thru September. I would find anywhere from 10 to 20 in my home everyday. They have started to died off, but I am now being infested with earwigs. I have had pest control spray quarterly and it has not help. What can I do to rid myself of this problem? I have only been in SC less than 2 years and I am wondering if this is a yearly problem in the south.
