Thank you for your response, the bug is very small about the size of the end of a pin (more like the plastic protector at the end of a straight pin). The stripes may be grey?? The stripes are not visable unless you look close. The bug is very slow and mostly just sits around. It is not posing any threat, however it is a nuisance and makes us feel un-clean. I know it flies because I saw one fly and then land and then just sit there until my husband picked it up and threw it outside. As for the "bomb" that I set off in my car, I checked the label and looked for a warning about using it in small enclosed places and there was no warning like that on the box. I did keep in mind that it may leave residu, and made sure the car aired out for several hours and then I went back in and cleaned everything inside the car. If nothing else, I really just want to know what kind of bug is getting free rides in our car.
