: It could indeed still be bed bugs. Did you check *inside* the box spring (may have to tear open a bottom linen) - seems to be one of their favorite hiding places? In any hole or rip or tear in the mattress? In your drapes? Under the edge of the carpet by the wall?

: Now I'm not saying it is, but it could still be. You could try getting heat traps and putting them on the bed or near the legs. Make sure it has fairly large holes - flea/mite ones are often too small to trap bed bugs. Cockroach ones are better. Otherwise, you certainly could also have mites or something like that.

It could be scabies or one of a number of mites like rodent mites or bird mites, dog & cat mites.Have you looked around your house for mice droppings or outside for a birds nest on or near your home?Did you go to the doctors & if so what did he think of you getting biten? Most of the time the doctors say it scabies & hand you a script for some cream to kill them on your body but after several months of failures they should refer you to a dermatology doctor.Have you looked for tiny blood specks on the mattress?Do you have any cracks & crevices or any mold or leaks because they can mean mites also.If I were you I would buy Raid's Fumigators in a blue box,3 to a box & put one in each room & you'll be surprised by the bugs you didn't know were around. It might just be fleas & they are a pain to get rid of also. This should kill whatever is bothering you. Also stand your mattress & boxspring on it end when fumigating then buy cheap mattress covers & pillow covers that are mite proof at Walmart or you could buy the plastic type but they are unconfortable. If you want to keep from getting bit buy a few cans of Deet "Deep Woods Off" in the green or "blue Sportsmen" can only. That stuff works very well.I think if it isn't bed bugs then its scabies or mites. This should help fight them things.Good luck
