Not weird at all. When a customer calls and has a problem, they will naturally go with the firm who has the best price and claims to be able to take care of the problem in the shortest amount of time, weather its true or not. After all, once you pay them, the chance you'll tell them to split and have to pay someone else all over again is slim and they know it.

Best thing to do is to research a particular problem before you call anyone and then go with the firm that is the most accurate to the industry standard.
