Sherry,
I am right there with you. I just moved in to a newly built home 6 months ago and same as you it started with spiders. Now I seem to have millepedes (sp?). They are exactly what you are describing. Look like a little worm, about an inch long. Curl up in fetal position when disturbed. When I saw the first one, I started shaking so bad I thought I was having a panick attack, I actually thought it was a tiny baby snake..(see my post from yesterday). Within a week I have only found 6 of them. That doesn't mean there aren't anymore. I am sure there are more where they came from. I called a pest control company and they said that finding under 20 a day is not considered a problem. Although I think 1 is a problem, that is just me. At least they didn't try to get me to committ to a bunch of expense treatments. They told me to get some stuff called "creepy crawly" and spray in indoors around your baseboards and patio doors and entry points. My hubby is picking some up tonight so we will try that and see how it works. I just found 2 more this morning and I am so upset I am actually crying like a baby. My kids think it is the coolest thing ever but I am just cringing!! How many have you found and where in your home did you find them?? Here are 2 pictures of what you are finding, right?
