The only suggestion I have for you is bringing the birds to an animal shelter. They won't take them if you tell them that you removed them from your property, but you can say that you found them on the sidewalk. By law, they have to take them. I love animals and would hate to disturb them, but bird mites SUCK and you do not want them in your house!
