: Thanks for your Reply...more or less what does the exrement look like? (i.e. hard, soft, a certain texture or size?) I have not experienced the odor, and when I killed the bugs they were not difficult to squash (but they were also really tiny.) I have not noticed stains on my bed, but could this be becuase it is the beginning of an infestation? More or less how long do they live in your apartment until you notice signs? Also, I found one crawling in my hallway along the wall, is that typical for a bedbug? Do you usually see them crawling around like that? I saw many just crawling in my bedroom--on the mirrior, around my phone, bed....

: I realy appreciate your help. Thanks!

ground up black pepper, black in colour. It sounds like they are nymphs newly hatched and are looking for a blood meal. Unless you are heavily contaminated you won't get the buggy smell nor the blood stains. Best bet is to capture one in a zip lock(remember these creatures are paper thin and can probably get out of a plastic container)baggie and put in freezer immediately. Take it to your nearest University for an entomologist to examine it. In the mean time use your vacuum daily, put all freshly laundered clothes in a plastic bag and tie it up. Examine your electronics(radios), lamps, pictures and bedframe for them. Check baseboards and shoes and slippers until you find out what the bug is exactly. Don't forget to get rid of your vacuum bag after use.
