is it possible there is a dead rodent in the walls? That may be where they are coming from..flys go dormant in the cold weather..but are active where heat is...i learned this when i had a maggot issue in my trash...i turned up the ac..and killed all the flies where they stood.

: HELP PLEASE...I have noticed several black flies in my house and have killed them. Seems like there are a few each day for the past three days. My house is not unsanitary and I do not have trash lying around. What would cause these flies to be around as I never heard of this happening during the winter. I know that during the summer it's not unusual for a fly to get in during opening and closing the doors/windows..but what would cause so many at this time of year?
