Hey Denise, have you tried Kleen-Free? some 6 months ago I was having the same nervous breakdown with the bedbugs. I searched through the net and found this product. It's completely natural and non-toxic. Best of all is that it's completely free. It also comes with some information about bedbugs and how to eliminate them. Well, if you have tried everything already, give this a chance. I'm sure you won't regret it! Mario : : Denise- : : If you got your bed in February and are only getting bit 6 weeks ago, it's likely that they are in your apartment and in your building. : : The entire building probably needs to be treated - otherwise they just come back. In my building, they spread from 1 unit that brought in a mattress to 7 other apartments, including some in the adjoining buildings. : : Just a warning about sleeping in the living room. The bedbugs could follow you there - it's happened to many on this board and many in my building. They're hungry and track the carbon dioxide you breathe out when you sleep. If they make it to the living room, that creates an entire new room that you will have to quarantine. : : Bedbugs suck. I nearly had a nervous breakdown in the 6-month process of trying to get rid of them. As Dan said, educate yourself and your landlord and your neighbors (check with them - mine all thought they had spider bites or allergies or something). Get a specialist exterminator and expect at least 3 treatments. Ours drilled holes in the walls for poison foam. : : Good luck.
: Thanks BBSlope! I'm doing alot of google search on those vampires until i'm tired. The exterminator comes every 3rd Wednesday of the month. They already did one treatment. So tomorrow the exterminator is going to treat my room again... My building manager asked me if i have dogs. I don't have a dog, so i don't know where she's coming from! I bought a Raid fumigator yesterday. I don't know if that can help also. It seems as if management want to sweep it under the rug. There's alot of holes in my floor also. The super suppose to fix that tomorrow also. He's been giving me the run a round since i found out about the bugs. One of friend told me not to ask other tenants if they had previous problem with bugs. I'm still going to ask, because i have to get to the bottom of this huge mess, its just driving me nuts
