We do need organized professional help, not just self-help bulletin boards with home remedies. The problem is, few professionals even know about the mites, and no one has a cure. This is a public health problem with horrific costs. People spend money going to doctors who haven't a clue, and insult them by telling their problem is not possible. People spend money on exterminators and products that don't work. People leave their homes. I have been wondering if a journalist would take up our cause.

: Tim, please try duct taping (with sticky side up)the legs of your furniture, around doorways, baseboards, etc., where the mite can crawl. It is difficult to crawl over sticky tape. I truly believe now that this is not a bird mite. It is some kind of crawling, threadlike worm that can grow very long, and it has a triangular shaped head.

: I have seen their imprint in my carpet, and in the dirt in my back yard. They can be transparent when crawling across floors. carpets, walls, and humans, etc., unless you really pay attention.
