I would agree with this assessment. Although, I would bet all my bedbugs and chiggers from the garden that you have bedbugs. (Actually, I think the bedbugs are gone. Crossing my fingers.) I thought I only got bit in the summer and only on specific places on my person. It's all part of the complicated tapestry of denial. Good luck. : ARe you sure you've looked everywhere? Bed bugs will hide just about anywhere small and dark. Behind pantings, in cracks in the wall (especially if you have bare brick showing anywhere. They love getting between bricks) Make sure you check up high. Inside lights and what not. They very often hide up high and drop down at night. In fact, it's possible that they are living inside the walls and emerging from seems between the drywall if there is even a tiny crack. From what you described, I would be my left arm and a coupld of fingers off my right hand that it is indeed bed bugs.
