Call your local county ASPCA or Humane Society. They can give you the number of the group that handles wild animal pests. Who knows, maybe they'll do it for you. Sometimes there's a fee, but they'll bring out humane traps and will relocate them. These traps are for sale in local garden centers and some home centers but I don't recommend you do this yourself. Let a professional handle it. Also, your county may be keeping stats.

This is actually a big issue that local governments are interested in. Raccoons can carry rabies and other maladies that humans are affected by. This is the same reason they don't want anyone to EVER feed the local wildlife, whatever it may be.

Good luck. Let us know what happens.

: We are having a major problem with racoons. At first there was only one but that one turned out to be pregnant and now there is the mother and her 3 babies.
: Does anyone know of a homemade racoon repellent? We don't want to harm them, we just want them to move on.
: Can anyone help?

: Thanks!
