Where did you buy De-mite? I think it has benzyl benzoate it, which kills the mites. (See my other post on this.) Vacuuming will never solve the problem -- do you have carpets? Try orange cleaner with d-limonene on hard floors. : Nope. I think he just intoxicated the bugs for a bit. I also talked to our local State Health Department's Vector Control pest controllers. They scolded me for wasting money on the foggers. The best way to get rid of the mites is to vacuum daily and wash clothing and such in hot water. De-Mite added to the laundry detergent also helps. I have also added using Swifter and Clorox disinfecting wipes after the vacuuming. Trick is to get every single crack and crevice of the house. Vacuum SLOWLY since those suckers can grab unto things real hard. I also found that the DYSON vacuum with HEPA filter does a pretty good job of vacuuming. : The worst is when it gets in your car. Hard to vacuum every single nook and cranny. I heard they die in temperatures over 130 F so I might try that next.
