Hi Ann, Thanks for your advice. I've tried glue traps but only caught a couple spiders. They are next to the bed legs 'cause that's where I figured any bedbugs would be.

I've moved the bed around the room, searched every inch of the mattress and bed incl. screw holes and between the boards. Mattress covers didn't help. Tried boric acid on the bedframe and found droppings in it, like they crawled right through. My next step is to take the bed apart and maybe rip off some of the baseboards nearby.

What do bedbug droppings look like? I haven't found any concentrated areas, only the tiny scab-looking things that show up on our sheets almost every morning. ugh.

Will try to catch one. What do their droppings look like?

Signed,

: Hi Jeanne: I would try to get a specimen before you apply the pesticide. Purchase some glue traps and place them under your bedlegs, also move your bed away from the walls. Take your bed apart and look in the cracks, screwholes. Look in the piping of your mattress. If they are not on your bed they maybe climbing on to it from somewhere in your room. Don't forget to throw out your vacuum bag after vacuuming.
